01 / 03 - Variables

Solutions & Pricing

Four variables
that shape the price.

Price doesn’t come off a rate card. It follows four parameters we set with you at the brief — and it holds all the way to delivery.

01

Format & size

Closed and open format drive paper consumption, weight, and shipping volume.

02

Mechanism complexity

Pop-ups, pull-tabs, movement: every layer of paper engineering adds finishing and assembly steps.

03

Template or custom

A proven mechanism shortens both lead time and development cost. A new one goes through a design and validation phase.

04

Quantity ordered

The longer the run, the lower the unit price. Make-ready and design costs spread across more units.

These four parameters explain why two pieces of the same format don’t cost the same: what already exists, what has to be engineered, and how many you print.

02 / 03 - Numbers

Price per unit - standard products

Just to give you an idea.

A wide, readable grid to place your project before going into detail. The four variables above will then refine the figure.

Averages observed across recent BMOSS projects. The final price depends on the four variables above.

Production timeline — standard

23 business days after final approval and proof — a standard average that moves with quantity and mechanical complexity. Delivery: 1 to 4 business days. Complex hand assembly: additional days case by case.

Commercial basis

Prices exclude shipping and taxes. Payment at 15 or 30 days net, or per current contract. Quantity tolerance: +5% / -5%, in line with industry practice.

What we need from you

You design on our template and send us a print-ready PDF. We turn it into a simulation that checks your artwork lands exactly where the mechanism needs it — folds, glue areas, moving parts — and we come back to you before anything goes on press.

Minimum quantity

There is one, and it depends on the destination country and on the mechanism. The matrix above starts at 500 units; below that, ask us and we will tell you what is feasible.

Quote turnaround

Within 24 business hours, costed on your actual project rather than read off a rate card.

Postal constraints

Three rules drive the cost. Thickness: staying under 5 mm keeps a mailing in the standard letter tier. Weight: brackets change at set thresholds — in Germany, above 50 g. Sorting: envelopes presented in postcode order unlock commercial mailing rates. We engineer within these limits from the first sketch.

Pharma compliance

Yes. We build within EFPIA rules and the local regulations of the destination market, and we know what a medical representative is allowed to leave behind.

03 / 03 - Quote

QUOTE

Your project,
costed down to the fold.

The more precise your brief, the more precise the quote. We price the paper engineering, stock, print, die-cutting, folding, gluing and hand assembly against your quantity.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

  • A detailed unit price, line by line.
  • Several run quantities, compared on a single page.
  • A production schedule worked back from your release date.
  • The mechanisms worth considering at your budget, and what each one costs.

Your project
