Lamella (also know as Venetian Blind or Slatted Mailer) is one of the most widely used paper engineered mechanisms out there. Standard sizes are DL, A5 and A6, however it can be easily adapted to be any size you require or with a window die-cut to represent your design idea. In this example the mailer is enhanced by a delay mechanism which activates the lamella only when the tab is almost fully extended.
